Casarones is a small white-washed coastal village which is situated in between

Castillo de Baños and El Lance on the old coastal road from La Mamola to Castell de Ferro. It has a wonderful small community of very friendly people.

There is a Cafe/Bar Nico's which serves excellent Tapas and meals and is run by Nico and Maria. Nico speaks very good English if your Spanish is not so good. This Summer 2009 an English couple Steve and Paula are running the kiosk by the beach selling cold drinks etc Already it is well visted by the local English community.
