Polopos

Polopos
The first mention of the existence of Polopos stretches back to the times of Al Andalus. Los Cehetes were two districts located in the Easternarea of the Granada's coast. Following the reconquest by the Christians, the area became part of the Señorio de Albuñol. In Polopos, visitors can discover its traditions and enjoy the local wine in "El lagar del Cehelí" (Wine Museum). Polopos is approximately 20minutes drive up a mountain road from the Coastal Resorts. It is well worth a visit for its beauty, tranquility and views of the surrounding mountains and right down to the Mediteranean
